About Cafe'1217

Cafe 1217 is located at 1217 Malvern Ave and is owned & operated by Ron Harris since March 2016. He is a native of Hot Springs & has been a regular customer since the cafe was opened in 1997. The cafe was founded by a young up & coming chef with a credit card & a “dream” by the name of Diana Bratton. After a long & successful career in the shoe industry Ron was looking for something that he could put his thumbprint on. Turns out that was Cafe’1217. Ron has always loved the customer service aspect of business, loved great food & experimenting with fusions of flavor within that arena. His love for food probably emanates from his fathers cooking prowess as he was a chef in the Arkansas National Guard & was always cooking up something fun & different.

Cafe 1217 has offered catering services in Hot Springs & the surrounding area since its inception. We cater small intimate affairs to large galas for several hundred guests. The cafe also takes special orders for smaller events on or off the menu with enough time to plan & execute. The Cafe also does a Thanksgiving Feast so you can let us prepare your meal so you can enjoy your friends & family.

Special attention to seasonal herbs & produce help the chefs focus on the monthly change of the menu.
